Social Enterprise UK, in association with Social Enterprise West Midlands, is delivering "An Enterprising Future", a one-day business support event for voluntary sector organisations who provide children and young people's services, in Birmingham on Tuesday 28th February 2012.

"An Enterprising Future" is designed for social enterprise start-ups and VCO organisations in the CYP sector looking to move to a social enterprise model, as well as CYP social enterprise start-ups.

The day will include:

• social enterprise inspiration, with speakers and experts from the sector; 
• practical workshops on topics such as business planning, securing and accessing finance, and winning public sector contracts; 
• the opportunity to sit down for a one-to-one session with a specialist social enterprise business advisor; 
• networking with other social entrepreneurs to share start-up experiences and best practice.

If you are a new social enterprise or are looking to make your CYP organisation more sustainable, this is an opportunity not to be missed!

Attendees: Delegate tickets are £75. This event is free to members of Social Enterprise UK, Social Enterprise West Midlands, Community Matters, Children England, NCVYS, NAVCA, and the Race Equality Foundation. The event is also free for organisations with a turnover of less than 20K.
